Orphanage in Yasi

Through financial donations in the form of annual contributions, the association supports an orphanage for young people in Yasi, which was set up by Karl Telser, a member of the association, in cooperation with the Schlanders vocational school and the "Aktivhilfe für Kinder" association.

Through the Salvatorian Sisters, the association helped particularly needy families in Timisoara. After the major flood disaster in 2006, members of the association organized a truck transport of relief supplies such as old clothes, blankets, medicines and bandages in collaboration with "Aktivhilfe für Kinder". Thanks to the people of South Tyrol, a total of 730 boxes of material were collected. With the help of many companies and volunteers (packaging, transportation, logistics), the goods were then handed over to people in need in Romania.

In Transylvania, volunteers from the association furnished a library, a kindergarten, a school and the community with the furniture from the old Athesia branch in Silandro. The assembly work in Silandro and Transylvania was also carried out by our volunteers.
