Recently, five craftsmen from Vinschgau, members of World Doctors Italy, returned from Ethiopia, where they provided valuable services at the Attat Hospital for ten days. Their efforts focused particularly on optimizing the hospital's water supply. For almost a year, there has been no "public" water available there; instead, water is exclusively drawn from a deep well built by the association in record time last summer after the two old wells suddenly failed.

The craftsmen ensured that the distribution of water to the various tanks on the hospital grounds now takes place automatically. As every year, they also carried out several urgent repair works. An important part of their commitment was the training of local staff and sisters to enable them to independently resolve any issues that may arise.
